2014, August 07: The first of the group Baptisms of the Isoko tribe

 
The first group Baptisms of the catechumens of the Isoko tribe of the Delta Province of Nigeria was
performance.
Because of the increased dangers (abductions, murders) in the region, the Very Reverend was advised by the Authorities to not travel there himself.
The Hierarchal representative of Lagos, Fr. Maximos Nnachette, undertook the pergormance of the Baptismal rite, together with Frs. Stephen Igetei, Fr. John Okolo and Fr. Matthias Emamezi.
The Baptisms were performed in a river of that region.
