Mothers’ Union Staff Meeting with the Bishop of Gulu and Eastern Uganda

His Grace Bishop Silvester Kisitu of the Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda was engaged in a meeting with the Uganda Orthodox Church Mothers’ union National secretariat staff at their office at Namungoona, Kampala. This meeting was basically aimed at formally updating the Bishop on the ongoing activities of the Union in the regions under the New dioceses as well as to discuss on the future operations of the Unions in the Diocese.
His Grace commended the mothers on their activities in the North and Eastern Region which have posed a notifiable impact on the Spiritual, social and economic aspects of the Mothers at the respective orthodox centers where they operate. He further urged them to continue with the good work because the mothers hold a big position in the development of the church.
